Great notebooks for fountain pens users! A lay flat design edition would be fantastic though!

These are great notebooks! The paper quality is fantastic. The paper isn’t flimsy and ink doesn’t bleed through the pages. They are definitely a great option if you use fountain pens as your primary writing instrument. And the fact that you can customise your stack as per your need of plain, dotted or ruled paper is truly fantastic!

The one thing I would greatly appreciate though is making the notebooks in a lay flat design like that of the Kokuyo Campus notebook and the likes! The lay flat design truly elevates the experience of analog writing from just a good notebook to one with a well thought out and intentional design meant for function as it offers a uniform writing experience on all pages. Would be great if y’all could consider this suggestion and release a lay flat edition.

Definite repurchase

Always on the lookout for dot grid notebooks.
I came across The Deso Project on Instagram and decided to make the purchase during their B2G1 anniversary sale.
Love the notebooks - excellent page quality (vital to me as an ink pen user).
The dot grid patterns are well spaced and of the right thickness. The plain cover adds to the premium look and is convenient for writing the subject.

Minor gripes - Some of the front covers came a bit creased (understandable as the diaries were delivered in monsoon). The price is a bit steep, but it's completely worth it during sales.

Suggestion to the makers - A different binding technique that allows for a flat lie would be a superb addition to an already great product.
